A little fun story for you – when I was a little girl growing up in South Carolina, I was enchanted by a book about a winemaker in the Finger Lakes. The area sounded so idyllic and I imagined what it would be like to visit. As I’d never heard of the region before, I assumed it was a fictitious setting, made just for the book.
