Ever since I can remember reading has been cathartic for me. When I was little, anytime I was frustrated, angry, or anxious I ran upstairs to my room, shut the door and read until I felt better. I would get lost in someone else’s world for awhile, putting my own on hold. As we are faced with the challenges of this unprecedented time, now more than ever, is a great time to pick up a book and put all of our fears aside for awhile. Just because travel is on hold for now doesn’t mean you can’t still experience a different part of the world. So get out your kindle or iPad because here are 10 travel books to inspire your wanderlust.
