I don’t know about you but I am constantly refreshing my bucket list. Okay the truth is I’m addicted to making lists. Call me a nerd but there’s something about organization that makes me sooo happy. Okay, enough about me. Here’s 7 destinations to add to your travel bucket list!
Bucket List Destinations
Dahab, Egypt
This may honestly be one of my favorite places that I’ve ever been to. Dahab is not like the rest of Egypt. Once you get your fill of centuries old history, head to sea-side Dahab for a more relaxed, chill vibe. Everyone is very nice and friendly, the town is adorable, and the diving/snorkeling is out of this world.
Ronda, Spain
Located just an hour and a half from Seville, Ronda is a mountaintop city with jaw-dropping views. It’s steeped in history and is the perfect place to wander around. Be sure to see the Puente Nuevo to get some Instagram worthy photos.
Folegandros, Greece
Our recent trip to Folegandros was nothing short of spectacular. Sleepier than some of the other Greek islands, this is the perfect place to beat the crowds. Hora, the city center, is closed to car and motorcycle traffic meaning you can wander the picturesque cobblestoned streets in peace.
Tallinn, Estonia
An easy trip from Finland, Tallinn is definitely a destination to add to your bucket list. With its cobblestoned Old Town and scrumptious food, there is plenty to get excited about in Tallinn. It’s also incredibly affordable which is just another plus!
Medellin, Colombia
Medellin definitely has a dark history but the city has improved tremendously since 1990s. Don’t take it from me, experience the transformation for yourself including the innovative public transportation. With its natural beauty, picturesque restaurants and cafes, and fun nightlife, Medellin should absolutely be on your bucket list.
Mexico City, Mexico
When some people think of Mexico they think of Tulum or Cancun but there is much more to Mexico. One of my favorite places is Mexico City, specifically the hipster neighborhood of Roma. Go on a taco tour, find a speakeasy (there’s a ton there!), or enjoy the artwork. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
Coron, Philippines
All the islands in the Philippines are worthy of a trip but Coron is especially one you need to visit. I have truly never seen any landscape like it. It’s out of this world stunning. Go on as many boat trips as you can, dive to explore shipwrecks, and prepare to leave a piece of your heart here.
